The Cast
Mat Sanders* (Sandy) Mat is a company member at New York City’s American Globe Theatre. There he has had the pleasure of playing Autolycus in A Winter’s Tale, Trinculo in The Tempest, Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedie of Errours, Launcelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice, Flute/Thisby in Midsummer, Peter in Romeo and Juliet. If you are girl between the age of five and twelve, you will remember Mat from his year-long stint as Uncle Gard/Totah the Indian Chief/Runaway Slave in An American Girl’s Revue at The American Girl Place Theater!!! Other credits include Take Flight (concert directed by Richard Matlby Jr.), Amos in Chicago, Argante in Scapino!, and Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business. He has appeared in National commericials for Wendy’s, Captain Morgan, Mtv and many more. Mat is graduate of the School of Theatre at Florida State University
Guerrin Gardner (Charlie McGee) Guerrin Gardner is a New York based actor and writer, originally from Tallahassee, Florida. NYC Theatre credits: Sandy & Charlie at FringeNYC ‘08 and IRT Theatre, September 12th (Nuyorican Theatre), 7-11 at Barrow Street Theatre, Acting on Impulse (Lion Theatre, directed by Ed Sherin), and is the co-writer/performer of Spiritual Curtains which has ongoing performances at The PIT. Regional credits include: Raymonde in A Flea in Her Ear, Giacinta in Scapino!, Babe in Crimes of the Heart. TV/Film: Law and Order (Guest Star), music videos for Bob Dylan/Mark Ronson’s You’ll Go Your Way... and The Secret Machines, Wainy Days, and the pilot “Together”. She is also a member of Studio Dante’s Master Scene Study workshop
and holds a BA in theatre from Florida State University.

Whit Baldwin* (Sugarfoot) originally from Mt. Olive, NC and is thrilled to re-create the role he originated to critical acclaim in last year's International Fringerly Festival. Most recently in New York he was seen as Peter Hale in the NYMF 2008 production of That Other Woman's Child. Regional credits include A Little Night Music-Quintet (Baltimore Center Stage, directed by Mark Lamos); Oklahoma- Curly (Hangar Theatre, directed and choreographed by Dan Knechtges); Carousel (Walnut Street Theatre); Seven Brides for Seven Brothers-Ephraim (PCLO); Anything Goes-Billy Crocker; 1776-Edward Rutledge; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying-Finch; Candide-Maximilian; Crazy for You-Trio/Bobby u/s (National Tour); Take Flight-Orville Wright (Concert directed by Richard Maltby Jr.) Whit holds a BM in Music Theatre from Florida State University. Geoffrey Barnes* (Nymph Swing) Geoffrey is a Native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Credits include: Ishmael and Ahab Mon Amour - Melvillapalooza Festival at the Metropolitan Playhouse, The Winter's Tale, Loves Labour's Lost the Musical and Two Gentlemen of Verona with the American Globe Theater in NYC Midsummer Night's Dream with the Storm Theater Company, She Loves Me and Ocean Drive with The Dorset Theater Festival, The Tap Dance Kid and Train is Comin' with the St. Louis Black Repertory Company, A Christmas Carol with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan, Return to the Forbidden Planet and Annie with The Hope Summer Rep. Festival, Much Ado about Nothing with the Inwood Shakespeare Festival, Served Cold/Revenge 2 with The Drilling Company, NYC, National tours of Peter Pan, and Jekyll and Hyde with Theatreworks/USA. In addition, Geoffrey has performed as a member of The American Globe Theater's Shakespeare for Schools program touring to schools all over the city in productions of Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet. Jeffrey Cutaiar (Buttershoes, Nymph Captain)Jeffrey’s current mood is thrilled. He happily returns to IRT and the cast of Sandy the Dandy and Charlie McGee. Previous IRT credits include Hydrus in Transit (directed by Nate Dushku) and Ron in a stage reading of Signarella. Recent and favorite credits include Rock Biter (workshop with Women's Expressive Theatre), the burg, Cabaret (Pennsylvania Centre Stage), The Dauphin in The Lark, and Woyzeck. Jeffrey spends his days painting in his Brooklyn studio - plotting to take the art world by storm.

The Crew
Nate Dushku (Director) Nate is an IRT board member where his credits include producing John Guare's Bosoms and Neglect and directing the premiere of Adam Beechen's Transit. Previously, his direction of Berthold Brecht's Baal at Studio Stage in Los Angeles was a critical success. As an actor, he was on stage in theworld premiere of Charles Busch's Die, Mommie, Die! directed by Kenneth Elliott at The Coast Playhouse, and on screen in such classics as Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet, The Zodiac, Blood Moon, and Antitrust. He is currently in development on a biopic about photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. He holds a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.
Alisa Claire(Choreographer) is originally from Washington, DC and received her degree from Dean College School of Dance in Massachusetts. Currently, she is the Artistic Director of Elan Dance Theater and The LM Project, two new dance companies based in New York City. She has choreographed for several companies and numerous shows including The American Globe Theater, The International Childrens Festival, The Rainbow Project in Barbados, WI., and Mieko Fuji Contemporary Dance Company in Tokyo, Japan.
Ryland Blackinton (Music) Ryland is a Brooklyn based musician and actor. For the past few years, he has been touring the world as the lead guitarist for the band Cobra Starship (notoriously known for creating the Snakes on a Planetheme song) and gaining buzz on the indie circuit with his folk-pop band, This is Ivy League. He will continue with Cobra Starship as they play the Warped Tour during the summer of 2008. As an actor, he was a company member of the Pearl Theatre and was most recently seen as the role of Declan in Ground UP's production of The Optimist at the Abingdon Theatre (directed by Jace Alexander). He has a B.F.A in Acting from Florida State University.
Russell Kirk (Arranger, Associate Composer) is regularly heard throughout the New York metropolitan area. As a solo artist, Russell has performed and recorded with a diverse array of celebrated groups, ranging from The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to George Clinton’s Parliament Funkadelic. In early 2009 Kirk was signed to Greg Osby’s Inner Circle Music record label and will produce his debut album later this year. He is a two-time recipient of the Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. This grant funding helped Russell pave the way for a self-produced album entitled Black & White, released in 2007. Kirk’s compositions also awarded him a residency at the John F. Kennedy Center with the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program. Russell attends New York University and is an adjunct faculty member in the Steinhardt School, heads a music outreach program for inner city youths in Harlem & the East Village, interns at Saturday Night Live.
Jodi Glucksman (Dramaturge) Has contributed in various capacities to shows in regional theatre, on Broadway, off and off-off Broadway including Showdown at the Adobe Motel, Merton of the Movies, Moliere in Spite of Himself, Semmelweiss, Night Must Fall, Mahalia (Hartman/Huntington Theatre Company); Heartbreak House, Awake and Sing, Design for Living, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (Circle in the Square Theatre Company); Leader of the Pack (McCann & Nugent Theatre Co.). In addition to Sandy the Dandy and Charlie McGee, Jodi has worked specifically as a dramaturge on Zeroland at PS 122, Alice in Zeroland at the Whitney Museum (Luckimann Productions); Language of Trees, Tin Pan Alley Rag, Ordinary Days (Roundabout Theatre Company); Victoria and Frederick for President (MOSON Productions).
